Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mark Henry Saft is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ingenium Group and director of its component business. He manages the activities of his search consultants and the satellite offices. Mark also continues to act as a consultant for the executive-level recruitment needs of The Ingenium Group’s long-time clients.
He began his career in executive search in Japan in 1995 and founded The Ingenium Group, Inc in 2000. His network of business professionals is far-reaching and he is widely recognized as being one of the most highly visible search consultants in all of Japan.
Prior to coming to Japan, Mark served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1993 as a Captain and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of The United States. Mark earned his Master of Arts Degree in Asian Studies from California State University, Long Beach in 1993 and he is also a graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Philosophy in 1989. Mark is originally from Kansas City, Missouri.
Mark is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan as well as the Tokyo American Club. He previously served as a Governor of the Board of Governors and Chairman of the Membership Committee, where he still contributes as a member, in the Tokyo American Club.

The Ingenium Group, founded in May 25, 2000, celebrated 11 year anniversary this week. We hosted a party at the Tokyo American Club bowling alley. We have experienced the global recession and the recent catastrophic earthquake, but we continue to work hard and expand, hiring the best talents all over Asia.
