Jeff Johnston

Jeff Johnston is a management consultant, executive search and IT demand-creation professional with 27 years overseas experience. Throughout his career, he innovated and championed business transformation, often navigating in highly-volatile market conditions.
A Florida native, he established semiconductor distribution subsidiaries in Europe from ’86. In the decade that followed, supply chain dynamics exposed serious channel inefficiencies. By then, Jeff transformed and streamlined his internal business processes (TQM) to develop an industry specific, business software suite. In a value-add, service-provider approach between OEM’s, he then utilized systems to drive data catalogs over ‘intranet’ (’95).

Franchise distribution in Taiwan then headhunted him for a demand creation role to lead a software modem development project (bought by Ingram Micro). Further, he led an internal process and IT systems redesign and championed an early adapter change management project.

Taiwan’s eCommerce start-up, Bexcom, then headhunted Jeff to develop portals in the IT and medical industries. With the dotcom bust, new industry problems arose providing new opportunities for him. As management consultant, large global tech firms hired him to utilize his quality and systems knowledge to spearhead organizational innovation.

In nearly 3 decades, Jeff’s board-appointed roles included stints as; Senior Director, Business Development Director, AVP and Managing Director. In Hong Kong since ‘04, Jeff is Vice-President for Ingenium Group, serving Asia-Pacific.
