Privacy
We pledge to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in relation to each candidate's personal information, and to safeguard the confidentiality of all any information our candidates share with us.
We will collect candidates' personal information in a lawful and fair manner. The main methods of collection are collection through submission by candidates of resumes/CVs and responses to candidate interviews and questionnaires.
Unless the candidate's consent is obtained or other exceptions apply, Ingenium will limit the use of personal information to the minimum we require for implementing the purpose of use set out in this policy statement. If we intend to change such purpose of use, we will promptly request the candidate's consent for such change.
Purposes of Use:
- To prepare candidate profiles.
- To conduct reference checks as approved in advance by the candidate.
- To introduce candidates and their specific qualifications to our clients/potential employers.
- To notify candidates of appropriate job opportunities as they arise.
- To arrange for candidate interviews.
- To assist our clients as potential employers in assessing the qualifications and suitability for hire of each candidate.
We will only permit our authorized consultants and employees, who are trained in the proper handling of candidate information, to have access to that information. Employees who violate our internal rules regarding safeguarding of personal information will be subject to our normal disciplinary process.
We will not provide the candidates' information to outside parties unless:
- The candidate agrees to such provision.
- Necessary in conducting reference checks as approved in advance by the candidate.
- Such provision is required by applicable laws.
- Such provision is required for the protection of human life, physical health or property.
- Any other special reason applies, subject to applicable laws.
We will attempt to keep candidate files complete, up-to-date and accurate. If there is a request for disclosure, correction and suspension of use of the personal information which we deal with, upon confirmation that such request is made by the candidate himself/herself or the proxy authorized by the candidate, we will take such measures for disclosure, correction and suspension of use unless there is any special reason not to do so.
We will establish measures as necessary to prevent leakage, loss or destruction of, or safeguarding of, personal information and implement such measures strictly. We will also establish a system and manual to deal with emergency situations.
We will in good faith investigate, and appropriately and promptly deal with candidates' complaints.
