About Ingenium: Management Team

Mark H. Saft, President & CEO

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Mark has lived in Japan since 1993. Mark began his career in executive search in 1995 and was a Vice President at one of Japan's largest executive search firms prior to co-founding The Ingenium Group, Inc.

Mark obtained his Masters Degree in Asian Studies from California State University at Long Beach, and graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a Bachelors Degree in English and Philosophy. Prior to coming to Japan, Mark served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1993 as a Captain.

Mark is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and currently serves as the Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Tokyo American Club.

Todd Miller, Managing Director

Prior to co-founding The Ingenium Group, Todd established himself as one of the premier executive recruiters in Japan. He has placed numerous executives with foreign technology companies in Japan and is considered the leading semiconductor search consultant in Asia where he has specialized for the past ten years. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Todd graduated from Goshen College with a major in Marketing and a minor in Economics.

Tim McIntosh, Managing Director

Tim McIntosh joined The Ingenium Group as Managing Director in 2008 and leads the Finance Practice. Tim brings to the company over 18 years of Human Resources and Executive Search experience in the Japan market. From his experience managing a boutique finance executive search firm, Tim has established himself as one of the regions top search consultants. Prior to his career in executive search, he was the Human Resources Manager for Morgan Stanley as well as Motorola in Japan. Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Hawaii while studying Japanese.

Tim is an active member of the Tokyo American Club, where he serves as Vice-Chair of the Human Resources Committee. He is also a member of the Hayama Marina Yacht Club in Kanagawa, Japan, and the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club of Hong Kong, SAR.

Nick Drochak, Managing Director & CTO

Nick has over 25 years experience with computers and network systems. He spent several years working at the U.S Department of Defense as a software engineer and since 1992 has been managing and directing the development of IT systems for companies in the recruiting industry in Japan. Nick is a co-founder and currently manages all aspects of technology development and deployment at The Ingenium Group. Nick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis and minor in Mathematics from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

Honor May, Partner

Honor leads The Ingenium Group's Consumer Practice which covers the fields of Advertising, Entertainment & Media, Food & Beverage, FMCG and Retail & Apparel. She specializes in the Retail & Apparel space and has extensive experience with senior management searches focusing on sales, marketing, merchandising and retail operations.

Prior to coming to Japan, Honor worked for several years in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Sales for Roche Products Pty Limited (Australia). She graduated from The University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Science from her hometown, Sydney, Australia.
