Ani Furukawa is a Consultant working in the Life Sciences Practice Group. Ani specializes in strategic Senior Manager and Director level searches mainly in the Medical Devices space for over 3 years. Before joining Ingenium, she worked as an interpreter and translator for one year and then went on to work for three years in the Corporate Planning Division of a Japanese trading company.
Ani is a graduate of Sofia University in Bulgaria where she majored in Japanese studies. She received a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education and spent a year of intensive study at Tokyo Gakugei University where she was immersed in Japanese language and culture. Ani passed the Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken and is certified as ikkyu, the highest level of proficiency in the Japanese language.
